Club Events
Throughout the summer months, we host both a Hunter and Jumper Schooling Show Series, welcoming riders of all ages and skill levels to the club. With classes suitable to all levels, we strive to have fun! Click on the link below to learn more about the Hamilton Hunt Horse Shows.
Summer Schooling Shows
This is a popular event which takes riders in organized groups to different tasting stations. Riders will have the opportunity to enjoy wine, beer, and cider tastings while enjoying a relaxing ride across some of our hunt territory. After they will enjoy a lovely catered lunch under a marquee tent.
Saddles and Spirits Ride
The Hamilton Hunt Show Committee is proud to offer Schooling Nights throughout the Summer months. The schooling rings and cross country course will be available to rent. The field has some very inviting cross country fences from 2' up to 3'6. This is a great "first outing" for horses to learn to jump natural fences...
X-Country Schooling
These events are held throughout the month of July/August as an "introduction to hunting". These leisurely rides will allow both horses and riders to learn what foxhunting is all about. These short 1.5 hr rides are an inviting way to introduce your horse to 'Riding with Hounds' and meet some new riding friends.
Hunt Schooling
The wine ride is one of our most popular events at the club. We enjoy the beautiful Niagara peninsula on horseback and stop off at the Hernder Estate Wines and Henry of Pelham Winery to sample their wine before proceeding on a trail ride through the Short Hill Conservation area.
